Learn meshpup
Short, hands-on guides to every part of the app. Each one takes a couple of minutes, and every picture and loop is the real app.
Getting started
The screen, the three modes and the camera.
Build
Add parts, place them exactly, and set up faces and wraps.
Adding parts and Main
Find parts in the library, add them with a click, and learn what Spawn Main and the R6 reference are for.
Selecting, moving and snapping
Select parts, drag them so they snap onto each other, use the gizmo and the G/R/S keys, and type exact values.
Copies, mirror and groups
Duplicate, mirror and ring-copy parts, group them, and save a set of parts as a reusable preset.
Faces
Add eyes, mouths and noses, put them in order, wrap or flatten them, and bake them into the body.
UV wraps and the workspace tab
Manage each part's painted texture, and check your pet's stats on the Workspace tab.
Camera and pictures
Frame your pet exactly, repeat a shot, and save a transparent picture of it.
Paint
Colours, brushes, materials, shape and grow, symmetry, the lock and finishes.
Painting basics
Open Paint, use the six tools, pick colours, and keep or throw away what you painted.
Brushes and stroke settings
The seven brushes, what each is good for, and every stroke and Advanced setting.
Materials
Paint with a material instead of a flat colour: pick one in the browser, fill or brush it on, and change its colours, shine and height.
The material library
All 78 materials by category, with a picture and a line on what each one looks like.
Shape: Bumps and Real shape
Choose per part whether a material's relief is only lit, left out, or becomes the part's real outline.
Grow
Grow rocks, crystals, roots, lights and more out of a painted part, and set how big, how many, where and on what.
Grow kinds
The kinds you can grow, with their sliders: rocks on lava, roots on a flat material, and Christmas Lights as worked examples.
Copies, surfaces and edges
Choose whether a stroke paints every copy or one, one surface or the whole pet, and what happens at edges.
Symmetry
Paint one side of the pet and the other side paints itself.
Lock to stroke
Keep new paint inside the stroke you just laid. Great for stripes inside a shape.
QuickShape
Draw a rough shape, hold still, and it snaps into a clean one you can still adjust.
Finishes
Recolour the whole pet's painting in one go: Golden, Diamond or your own colour.
VFX
Particle effects that go into Roblox with your pet.
Roblox and files
Saving, settings, and getting your pet into Roblox Studio.
